Creating dream kitchen in Adelaide is all about bringing your style
to life. Kitchen designers need flair to make your taste and
requirements a reality. In order to do this, they must connect with you
and learn exactly what you require from your new kitchen. If you are
about to embark on a kitchen renovation and don't know exactly what you
want, take a look at the following kitchens. These celebrity kitchens
are bold, creative and will make you think more about how you can bring
your own personality into the design.
The Osbournes
You would never guess that this kitchen belonged to the Godfather of
heavy metal. Its looks more like a warm country kitchen than a rockstars
kitchen, but when it comes to decorating, Sharon is the boss. The
talented Martyn Lawerence Bullard, who is renowned for decorating rooms
with a Moorish influence, designed the Osbourne's kitchen. However, he
follow Sharon's taste and when for a country feel that incorporated
pieces from her Americana collection. These include animal weather wanes
and a vintage cash register. This seasons favourite colour blue, is
used in a teal tone to off-set beautiful worn chairs. A modern touch is
create with a marble top with splashes of brass around the place.
Cher
When you step int Cher's kitchen you feel like you are entering a
retreat. The kitchen is very tranquil utilizing a neutral colour palette
and bold accent pieces. The Asian and Middle Eastern influences are
evident with woven cabinets and screens making you feel like you've
entered an exotic land in this open kitchen. They also mask the
state-of-the-art appliances that the kitchen houses. The bench top is
framed with gorgeous Chinese lanterns decorated with white candles. It
would be an absolutely magnificent kitchen to cook in under candlelight.
Diane Keaton
There is something so fabulously different about Diane Keaton's
kitchen. With help from her designed Stephen Shadley, she has managed to
restore her old Californian kitchen into a Spanish masterpiece. As soon
as you walk into the kitchen a barrage of bright colours hit you. Your
eye is immediately drawn to the bold and intricate coloured tiles, which
snakes down from the bench tp. Each tile was hand picked by the actress
at a swap meet. Another personalised touch is a quote adapted from
Robert Frost, which reads, €Home is a place where you known on the door
they have to let you in.€ Stunning coloured plates border the top
cabinets in bright yellows, green, red and blue.
Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi
Ellen and Portia have a gorgeous kitchen that sort of reminds me of a
glass house. The centerpiece of their kitchen is a stunning custom-made
hanging glass display case that is situated above the island. Its
purpose is to store crockery and also to look amazing. Luckily it
managed to do both. The island is a beautiful shade of green, as well as
a green tile splashback. Neutral tones work beautifully in sync with
the green; to help make the stronger tones stand out.
Elton John and David Furnish
It is surprising that Elton and David have a vibrant kitchen. A
bright electric green feature wall and purple chairs create a
disco-esque vibe. It is still very contemporary though with a statement
crystal chandelier hanging over the island. Amazingly, the piece was
taken from the Grand Hotel in Milan and use to hang over the concierge
desk. Sleek black benchtops and flooring help set off the bold colours
and statement pieces.
